Dr. Ahmad Masri and Dr. C. Michael Gibson discuss findings presented at the HFSA2026 examining the association between an early eGFR dip following acoramidis initiation and the risk of all-cause mortality and recurrent cardiovascular-related hospitalizations.
The post hoc analysis of ATTRibute-CM found that acoramidis was associated with a consistent benefit on these outcomes through month 30, regardless of the magnitude of the Day 28 eGFR dip. No clinically concerning changes in laboratory parameters or blood pressure were observed.
